Lands. After the death of William's first wife, Henry II gave him the hand of Isabel de Say . She was the sole heiress of Helias de Say , who held the lordship of Clun and was an early benefactor of Haughmond Abbey. Clun was to pass to the FitzAlans on the death of Helias, but he outlived William, so it passed to his son, the second William.


William married Christiana. (Christiana died before 1155 1564.)


William next married Lady Isabel de Say, daughter of Elias (Helias) de Say and Letice de Maminot. (Lady Isabel de Say was born in 1141 in Clun, Shropshire, England,1549,1565 died in 1199 in Oswestry, Shropshire, England 1565 and was buried in Shropshire, England 1565.)
